When making offers to buyers, why can't we make the quantity more than one?

Suggestion to improve eBay (unless I am just doing it wrong lol)

I have a listing for coins with a bunch of watchers, and I would like to make an offer of for example 5 coins for a set price but it seems you can only send the offer with a quantity of one. Is there a reason for that?

Maybe because eBay hasn’t thought of it yet. A very good idea that would be useful for sellers with multiple quantities and accepts offers.

If I am not mistaken, when you send an offer, you can put the information in the message box. If the buyer agrees, then relist the packaged deal at the agreed on new price. Just make sure he is available to make sure no one else sneaks in a purchase.

If the potential buyer is watching multiples of the same item, you can choose a quantity when you send the offer.

The dime listing?  Your description says only 1 dime per order, yet a buyer can choose more than one quantity?  Not an answer to your question.......but curious.
