I love the Dollar Tree.  Oh, but we are getting sidetracked.

There is nothing about the listing that makes me not want to buy it.  You have all the necessary info.  Although, lots of people prefer actual photos to stock photos.

I wouldn't buy it only because I don't need them.

* First, it is apparently a drop-ship item. I REFUSE to buy from drop-shippers unless I have no other option.

* Next, the pictures are in violation of policy. (No words are permitted in a picture).

* Next is the shipping time/estimated arrival date. WAY too  long. (I find 15 days unacceptable).

* The shipping amount is suspicious (free) - tells me this item is being shipped from out of the country (probably China) - not from NJ as stated.  I don't see the cost of the item 4.95, is sufficient to pay for American postage.

* The item is only $1.00 at the dollar store (as someone else  pointed out already).   

* There is no confirmation stated that package includes tracking or not. 

* In the 8 days this listing has existed, it has been revised 8 times. Some of my listings have a lot of revisions too - so I get that, but not once a day since ad was originally posted. eBay has not had any updated in the ;at 8 days that would mean the listing had to be updated and it is not old enough that you are being advised to revise it. 

* Ad does not state if item comes in the original, unopened, manufacturer's box/packaging - or not.

* Your description is full of pictures, four of which are shown in the picture area, so these are redundant/repeats and take up space in the ad - moreso than words... and you post no description that you have worded yourself, obviously not investing any effort into creating it. I personally don't buy based on pictures. 

* This is stated to be a private listing - something else I try to avoid.

* You have no buyer feedback. Only feedback from where you have purchased a few things. 

* Are you aware that you are offering EXPEDITED shipping, free (In addition to standard)? So if that method is selected by buyer, and it is not shipped USPS Priority from the US - that likely will be an issue for a buyer and you may get a defect over it. Especially if it is being shipped from China. Do they have USPS there to ship from (I really do not know this.)? And how does one select 2 free methods anyway? Another indication that this item stems from an international location. US free and international free too?

* Lastly, I find the item unattractive and I'd never wear anything like that - so I have no use for it.

To many cheaper competitors and not a name brand. I can easily get a pair at any nearbuy brick & mortar store.  Try to find more unique items or research what items are in demand right now. I know most on this board have a negative view on dropshipping but as long as you find a reliable partner and you keep up with inventory it can work. Although I wouldn't recommend for someone just starting out. Also if you are dropshipping make sure that you put the correct location the item is shipping from. That's a big turn off for buyers and it also can mess up your shipping times and cost.

that competition is shipping from china which can take a month to arrive, im shipping from new jersey max shipping is one week

i'm not sure what you saw but the expedited shipping is usps priority and its $5.65 not shipping from china rather from new jersey. they only originate from china so the upside is that it comes in a week max rather than a month

As you can tell by the replies. Most buyers will assume its coming from China just but the way the listing looks. Just because you can source cheap Chinese items doesn't mean they will sell. Especially items that are so readily available. People know they can get that kind of stuff cheap on Wish and Alibaba. It's just not a profitable item to sell. You got some good advice. It's up to you if you want to take it.

Looking at the shipping tab, it stated that USPS Priority shipping as a second option was free. The OP must have revised it since then as that is not there now.  Anyway - if mailing from NJ, it does not take 15 days for arrival. Sounds like she is placing an order when she gets one and having it mailed from the supplier's location - wherever that is.  Last updated on  Aug 12, 2019 18:13:37 PDT - also, somehow, she managed to get all the former revision notes erased as it does not show any now - including the one mentioned at 18:13. And the pics have been edited as well. Nice improvements.

That is the OP's response to you. They bought the item from China and are shipping from NJ. It doesn't show 15 day when I look at it. Its say for me it would arrive on the 15th-17th

At the price you're charging, you can go to any dollar store and buy enough pairs to last you almost a week.

i would like to thank everyone for all the useful tips and a lot of them i used in my listing. 

However there is one opinion i see that many of you have that dropshipped items have no chance, and this i disagree with.

First, granted you can get them from china for a fraction of the cost, however i believe that many people will rather pay some more to get it in a week or less rather than a month.

second, see whats selling, search "wireless earbuds" you will see these people selling them by the thousands.

now, granted they are on the first page and their veteran sellers giving them a huge advantage, but its still unbranded.......

WAY too long for anyone to view on a phone or small tablet. Too wordy and too many stock pics. Clean it up!

I'd invest a few bucks and get a pair for myself to test and take pics. There are still thousands of others out there, but at least I'd get unique pictures both in the retail packing and out with all angles etc. Good luck~
