What is happening? No views! 1 or 2 views? October 2022

I’m a very part-time seller.  I mostly sell vintage collectibles, but there’s a mix. I just listed a Halloween animated clock, that I know to be a good seller, and it’s October 6! I have it reasonably priced with reasonable shipping (as much as is possible these days.). I listed it a couple of days ago.  I have 1 view on it so far! What gives? I know many others are having the same problem. Has Ebay addressed this?   What if anything is being done to address this problem?  @udderlygoodstuff

1 or 2 views is not uncommon these days due to two factors:

• Extremely low traffic/low sales
• Change to how views are calculated. Bot views are no longer counted which made up a big portion of item views in the past. https://www.ecommercebytes.com/2022/04/13/ebay-changes-how-it-counts-page-views/

Hi, with only 8 items listed, it looks like you are doing well as a part-timer seller. I wouldn't sweat the drop in views, but chalk it up to the ebb and flow of retail. 

If you optimized your listings for SEO, you could vastly increase  your traffic. Search Engine Optimization would also improve your placement in Cassini as well, eBay’s Search  engine.

There are other sellers with the same Halloween clock beating your price and shipping costs.
