What in the world is this??

I received this threatening email from eBay and I have no idea what it's referring to.

Is it in regards specifically to feedback that I have left for buyers?

Or is it in relation to one-on-one conversations I've had with buyers?

You cannot get more vague than this.

If it's in regards to leaving the wrong type of feedback, there's a simple solution to this, never leaving feedback again.

Help??

  Go into your feedback settings.
Set it to where it AUTOMATICALLY leaves Pos feedback, for anybody that leaves you Pos feedback.
Then simply refrain from manually leaving feedback to anybody, for anything.
And, you might consider hiring a Nun with yardstick to stand behind you when you're looking at your feedback.
You know, just in case 😂

That is an excellent suggestion.  I think for the future that could really help the OP.

Yeah I don't know what they removed, the email showed no details.

As for leaving negative feedback for buyers who leave negative feedback for you in response, are we supposed to just sit there and let them walk all over us and we cannot defend ourselves?

Defense is supposed be in a response to the FB left by the buyer for the seller. Negative comments in positive FB for buyers is prohibited. You are now on Ebay's radar. Your message was a reminder of Ebay policy.

Yes, it's called being professional and leaving a professional response.  Your name calling speaks volumes about you as a seller.  Leaving false positives is a big violation and as you found out they will get removed.

I thought this sounded familiar when I read some of those feedback exchanges. The OP got into a big debate here last year when it became known that he was attempting to profit from 1 cent sales with $5+ shipping by refusing to discount for combined shipping of multiple purchases but then combining the shipment anyway. This resulted in a big dispute with a buyer who basically said to him - If you will not discount for combined shipping then ship my purchases separately. He refused.

There was also that silly threat in posted feedback about how a Neutral feedback buyer 'will be contacted by our attorney for libel.'

Given all the hostile feedback flying back and forth it seems very likely that some even worse comments were deleted - probably after a recipient complained.

What a great observation.  I remember those threads.  And this is the same seller?!?!?!?

I remember this clearly now.  The OP sometimes takes advantage of buyers.

I encourage other to read the links that @itsjustasprain provided as it is a good read.

I received this threatening email from eBay and I have no idea what it's referring to.

It is referring to you violating the feedback extortion policy:

Yeah I don't know what they removed, the email showed no details.

We cannot see it either, so we cannot tell you why eBay might have removed it.

You are supposed to follow the rules.

Just listen to what others are saying, if you can't respond in a professional manner, just don't respond at all, don't let your responses represent you as a hostile seller.

You can't leave negatively worded feedback for buyers.

Also have you ever said you'd refund in exchange for buyers removing negative feedback for you?
