What happens if I ship really late like the buyer wants?

Buyer wants me to ship later than my shipping speed. What happens if i simply ship on 8th (9 days late). Will ebay keep sending me messages and I get dinged and buyer gets the time they want it shipped.

As an Above Standard Seller there is no effect unless you have more than 7% of your shipments late (at least 😎

For Top Rated status you are allowed 3% late (at least 6)

1 or 2 late shipments means nothing at all.
