The last week or so whenever I make a new listing the option to automatically relist the item up to 8 times has disappeared. Anyone know anything about this? Is It related to the switch to managed payments? Is there a way to get it back?
Thanks

According to the spring 2019 seller update all fixed price listings are now "Good 'Til Cancelled"
There is however the only option for listing a fixed price item is "Good 'Til Cancelled."
Relist until sold (or relist 8x etc) no longer exists.

The poster is referring to auctions, not fixed price listings. I know of sellers that have used the list 8x options but I don't know if it is still available or if it is limited to certain sellers.

I'm sorry I can't help with the reasons it is happening to you, but I can confirm that I'm still able to use the auto-relist feature on my auctions as of a couple days ago. (Using seller hub, no store, not on managed payments yet.)

Hmm. Interesting. I've signed up for managed payments but haven't switched over yet. I wonder if that is related.

I did a live chat with an Ebay associate yesterday because I'd had the same problem; they told me that they were aware of the issue & that they'd add my account to a priority list of those affected. So by the sounds of it, there's some glitch. My account is still missing the relist option. This happened right around the same time that the free monthly listings went from 50 to 200, so I'd assumed that Ebay managed to bungle things as they always seem to excel at underwhelming it's user base. But I'll wait to see what happens .

Why is there nobody from Ebay replying to this post? Is there any more info on this? As of September 10th I am just now seeing this issue.

I just spoke with Ebay customer service on this issue. I explained several times that ALL of my auctions ended today, even though previously the automatically relist box was checked. About 700 of the 818 auctions still had anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks to relist automatically. The box was definitely checked, but, I was simply told that I did not check the box. I calmly explained that there is in fact NO box to check at all to automatically relist, it is gone. He sent a ticket to the upper tier for help, but, also that they would likely not contact me about the issue. In other words, no refunds or credits would be given for 700 auctions that should not have ended. Nor would apply to any future auction listings that I am not able to check the automatically relist box for. I simply explained again to check the box to automatically relist, and then he was gone.
Not to happy with this, and not sure what to do next.

That happened to me too around the end of August. I had about 200 auctions that did not automatically relist even though I know the box was checked and had several more weeks to go. The auto-relist box has also disappeared. I have talked to Ebay CS on the phone a couples of times with no help. They said they would send my case to their tech people and message me when it was resolved. Still no response. Very Frustrating!

My auto relist vanished last week. Called customer service. They had no intelligent response as to why. Said they'd kick it over to tech but could give no estimate on when tech would fix (or even look at) the issue.....they wouldn't give *any* timeline. Makes no sense from an eBay perspective - the fewer things I list the fewer I'm going to sell. With sell through rates on idiosyncratic vintage items paying listing fees is ridiculous. So my listings will, in a busy buying season, drop precipitously. Not happy.

Hi, did you get your problem resolved? I’m having the same issue and already talked to eBay 5 times. Nothing!!! Just loosing money.

I’m having the same issue since beginning of December. Talked to eBay 5 times and they don’t know how to resolve it.
it sucks as I have now almost 300 items that ended early and can’t relist them. I’m losing money.

I'm guessing (as have others on similar threads) that access to the free auto-relist function is controlled by an eBay bot. It views parameters such as how long one has been listing, pricing of your items and recent sold items to make a decision as to who gets the auto-relist and how long it continues.
Your history shows brisk sales during recent weeks and the bot may have decided you no longer need assistance in getting your items seen. Please understand that this is all conjecture on my part and I have no data to back up my assertions.
I have seen it suggested that only new sellers receive this perk, but I know of long-established sellers who have also been able to use it. As always, eBay does what they darn well please without regard to logic or reason.

Did you get a notice to move to MP and not do it? I know someone that had their listings not get renewed because of that reason, at least that's what eBay told him.
