What do they see?

When I put a new winner in my "Ignore List" what do they see when they go to my listing?   Anything?

Do they know they've been disinvited?   Can they tell?

Or, is all of my inventory invisible from the get-go?  From the search list?

They can see what you have for sale and will find out they are blocked when they bid/purchase your item.

OK.  

HOW, do they find out?   Does a banner appear saying "You've been blocked, your money isn't wanted here.  Go away."

Or is it all grayed out ... what does it look like?

Also, I understand that they can't send messages either.

So, when they do attempt a message, how do they know it's not going to be seen by me?

The 'send' button is grayed out and not usable?   or, they get a message saying they can't send a message?  or ...  HOW do they know they're messages are blocked?

@chariot_badges  for purchases- they get a notice once they try to bid or click the 'buy it now' "This seller is not selling to you" (or something very close, I've had a buyer send me the exact screen shot; so there is no 'mincing' words.

Regarding messages; buyer has no idea and would think you are just not answering- the message goes through as normal.

By the way, a seller can send a message to a blocked buyer and the buyer WILL see that message (we've already done the 'I'll block you and we'll see' investigation; just a few weeks ago)

Actually I believe the system drops the message on the floor; the seller does not see any hint that the blocked buyer sent a message. (But yes, from the buyer's point of view, the message seems to go through; it does not get bounced back.)

If you send a message to a blocked buyer, they can answer it.

Can you send a message to a blocked buyer?  Never tried it. 

They can try and answer, and they'll think it goes through, but my understanding is it never shows on the seller's side.

Just to add here.

If a blocked buyer askes CS ......................  CS will spill the beans and tell the buyer that they have been blocked.

If they try to buy something, it will tell them that they do not meet the seller's requirements or something along that line.

Yes that's true (about CS). You just have to say "I can't purchase this item, can you help me or tell me why I can't purchase it?" and they'll share that the buyer is BBL'd.

Also a blocked buyer can't send or answer any messages... they don't know the messages aren't going through. I tested this a while ago with @lacemaker3 who had a valid purchase from me a month early (we were testing if blocking would immediately stop messages or if buying something would allow messages to go through).
