Beating a dead horse here i know.........The fees are outrageous, Insertion fee, final sale fees, below standard fess, final shipping fee...I've had enough. I sell at conventions so once in a while an item gets sold there and it take me a day or two to catch up here. I make it up to EVERY single customer that I have had to cancel an order on and as you can see from my feedback it's 100%. If the customer is satisfied then FeEbay should be too. Insertion and final fee I get, final shipping fee is **bleep** and this below standard fee is over the edge. Banging me over the head for cancelled orders is ridiculous.
So I will get my affairs in order and will move on to another platform. Im not looking for advice or justification for ebay, Honestly (and I apologize) but I don't care. Good luck to those staying I wish you much success!

Why not fix this problem by putting your store on vacation while you are busy conning. Soon as you get home remove all your con sales from eBay.

On the contrary. Ebay has been fun. And lots of it. Of course I started selling in Feb 1998 when everything sold. Things we could not sell at the flea market went for crazy prices here. Fast forward I still sell small time but now things that do not sell here sell at the flea market. It isn't for everyone and I pay no insertion fees and final value fees are still way less than commission elsewhere so best of luck to you.

I believe that folks have been saying for years now that 'one size doesn't fit all'. First two post seem to be a good demonstration of that. Good luck to all sellers, whatever the situation or where ever the road may lead.

Best wishes to you in whatever you decide to do. Consider working within whatever system you go with and maybe lose some of the "sour grapes" approach and I am sure you will do well.

Congratulate you on your decision.........Obviously, ebay doesn't work for you since you can't keep stock up to date.

You're lucky they haven't made you change your user id too. It's a violation.

I don't understand why sellers think a buyer is "happy" or "satisfied" just because they didn't throw a fit when a sale got canceled right out from under them. Because having been the buyer in that situation before? I can assure you that they are NOT happy. They've wasted their time, they didn't get the thing they wanted and thought they were going to be getting, their money may be tied up for a few days until it goes back onto their card, and now they have to go look for the item somewhere else and go through the whole process all over again. It's an enormous pain!
A buyer should not have to be inconvenienced because a seller can't keep control of their own inventory.

If I had a dollar for every post I have read like yours I would be a millionaire. Just sayin'. We hear your pain. You forgot promotion fees and charity fees if you use them. Probably a couple dozen more that I am not aware of even but am paying.
