Is anyone else seeing a totally new look on the listing page? I don't understand why Ebay seem to change the "look" every few months....do the programmers need to justify their jobs that bad?
OK....update, just listed antother and back to normal. That was real weird. It had the "listing title" about the pictures....and how you added the pictures was different. Also the shipping was totally different in that it had "tiles" for the shipping options instead of the check box lists....very odd.

Yes, the site changes.
It's been that way since 1995.
The one thing that doesn't change is ... every time there is a change, people come here to complain.

Justifiably so, and almost everytime the board lights up with piles of this does not work anymore or it is gone, or your on your own to figure it out....blah blah...Ebay needs to learn to stop trying to be Amazon, it is never going to happen. Changing things constantly only causes more problems constantly. And Changing things for the sake of changing things is never a good idea, when the user has to figure out all the other strings attached to it that has been affected....
It is challenging enough to create sales and successful transactions with buyers...but adding ebay into the mix is a battle on 2 fronts...
Ebay USED to be a great place...even to the point of never having to come to this forum area, or even knew it existed....but today...not so. It is weekly for sure and sometimes daily to try to figure out what is messed up...go take a read at the "report technical issues" board, while some are self induced, most are not and are legitimate.

I have been a software engineer for 40 years. I can assure you that programmers do not make changes to "justify their jobs". That is a tired trope that simply does not exist in a company the size of eBay.
In every organization I have worked in (currently a fortune 1000 company), the work done by software engineers is directed by management through product owners, and the story has been proposed, outlined, discussed, refined, prototyped, and acceptance criteria established by a review team before a software engineer ever gets his hands on it.

I agree, sellers do come here to complain. That is exactly what ebay wants sellers to do. It is actually an option eBay gives us when you follow the HELP link in my eBay.
It’s been that way since early 1996.
Are you telling sellers it is not ok to do so?
