Views and Traffic have tanked. Anybody else?

Anybody else seeing a huge drop off in views and traffic?  We were rolling solid for the month and suddenly the traffic has just dropped off big.  So far even today, we've listed 27 new listings and a total view of 1 for everything.

Just put on a sale, end all listings and relist, you must trick the algorithm at this point in time to get your listings more visibility.  Literally the secret right now.

You have to be more analytical about it before you can jump to conclusions.

Since you sell '1 off used items'; the $$ amount has no bearing in this conversation. 

What does- is the 'count' of items that are sold (since some are $10 and some are $1000)

So, since May 1st; you had

1st- 9 sales

8th- 8 sales

13th, 17th; 12 sales

2nd thru 20; average of 18.75 Sales

21-24 average of 7 sales a day.

So, what happened on May 1st? (Nothing)

What happened on May 8th? (Mothers Day)

Past 4 days, average of 7 per day BUT....

You had 1360 items sold the past 90 days. You currently have 4600 listed.

Are/Were the 1360 more desirable items than the 4600 left? 

How new are the 4600 (or how many are new?)

Think of a garage sale. All the good items are available on Friday, but by Sunday morning the pickins are thin. By Sunday afternoon, it's all boxed up and donated because nobody wanted those items.

im not buying the bot thing. when i was getting alot of views i was selling but now since the change views dropped and sales also. so something going on.

Sales almost stopped these last two weeks. It's eBay. It was far too sudden for other explanations. I know the economy is heading down but that alone doesn't explain the suddenness of it and so many of us on here are saying the same thing.

The constant messages about "Why don't you try PROMOTED listings again?" makes it obvious eBay wants you to pay more for better traffic, views and sales.

I am seriously no longer liking Ebay...... one can't even see the "views". When I spoke with someone 2 months ago they said they were upgrading. I guess that was just a "shut up and don't ask" reply
