Video content still allowed?

Just reviewed and older video policy..  Does this still stand?

Would be a shame if they ever take away the ability to boost our sales using video content!

Video LINKS are still allowed.

You can't actually have a video that plays WITHIN the listing page. But a link that opens another page and plays it there is OK, as long as you follow the rules. (Only certain sites can be used to host the video, I use YouTube and would guess most sellers do) Here's an example:

Keep in mind -- many people are sneaking a quick look at eBay while at work.

 

You don't want anything that would not be work related playing loudly where the boss or  that snoop Elaine knowing what you are doing instead of working.

As noted above, only video LINKS are permitted within the listing....the link is NOT going to automatically play audio....

So, a savvy buyer at work would know to mute his audio before clicking the link.....but merely opening up the ebay listing does NOT start the audio playing.
