VAT Invoices

Is there a simple way to email customers a VAT invoice?  Currently the only way I can find is by printing it myself and then scanning it.  Seems absurd there is no option to simply email it directly from eBay.

You may want to post your question on the UK board. This is the US board and not many here deal with VAT.

Unfortunately, eBay is misdirecting UK members to the US discussion boards. Hard to believe, I know, but there it is.

You'll want to post your question on your "home board" so your compatriots can help you with your VAT invoicing issue . . .

Thank you, I wasn't aware I was on the US board.  Doh!

If someone sells an item out of the U.S. which is Ebay's largest seller/buyer market to Europe, they could very well be asked for a VAT invoice.  It should be answered here.

Ask on the UK boards.

DotCOM and dotCA (Canada) have the 'sales taxes' as a part of the invoice-- when the seller is register to collect and remit them.

Are you registered to remit VAT?  If you are not, don't try. Her Majesty will not be amused.

If a seller is not registered to collect taxes, he should not even try to collect taxes.

And I very much doubt any US  seller is registered to collect the British VAT.

Most are not even registered to collect American state taxes, which is why eBay is now doing it for those states who charge them.

No, it really shouldn't be answered here. US sellers have no experience with VAT. What in the world makes you think they'd be qualified to answer any questions concerning VAT? Do you think they should just make some stuff up?
