Hi Everyone, Just a quick opinion question for you sellers out there. Does anyone use the AI for their item descriptions & what do you think of it. My friend tried using it on one listing & it was so far "off of the mark" that he could not use it. He had to revise everything. I am afraid to try it as most of my customers like me to be pretty descriptive with my items. Thank You & I Hope Everyone Is Well!

Using A.I. description is a big mistake, until & if it ever gets improved upon you are putting yourself at risk for INAD without a doubt, Stay away from it.

From what I have seen, AI did a good job of taking information in The various item specific fields and summarizing them in the description. I haven’t seen anything that a seller wouldn’t have in the eBay listing – aside from the horribly flowery language and exaggerated desirability of the item.

I dont use it and when I am shopping as soon as I see a listing with an AI description I move on.

Do what our friend did - he make a sell similar of one of his own listing, removed the description he wrote and let ai do one.
After he stopped laughing he save it as a draft then went to drafts and deleted it.

I use it on my one off items because the listing requires something in the description box. Most of what I sell, I can pretty much put the description in the title of the listing and eBay buries the description anyway.
