Updates are happening to some item specifics and category structures

We announced in our most recent Seller Update that we’ve revised some categories and item specifics to help make your listings easier to find on eBay and by external search engines. 

Starting today, you’ll see updates to the following categories:

Business & Industrial (Sinks)

Collectibles & Toys 

Electronics (Cameras)

Health & Beauty (Covid tests)

Home & Garden

Parts & Accessories (Wheels & Tires)

Sporting Goods (Golf & Cycling)

Watches

During this transition, your listing experience could be temporarily impacted, as well as the visibility of your listings.  You may notice some item specifics changing names, listings moved to different categories, or some listings temporarily not appearing in searches. 

Any affected listings should return to normal within a week, though some effects to listings’ visibility in searches may continue for up to three weeks. 

Once these changes are complete, we recommend checking your listings in the above categories to see if any were affected.  Learn more about category changes → please scroll down the page to see the links for the specific category changes.

We understand these updates will take extra time and may cause some frustration, but our goal is to help you increase your listings’ visibility and sales.

Please add me to the list my sales and views are completely dead. I was doing very well and then listings just started to sit at 0. I listed couple items that would get crazy views and are at 0 for days now. Something is wrong when you go from 12 to 20 sales day then 2 sales and there buyers that had the items saved from earlier.

My store has dropped in sales drastically as well.  Promoted listing have dramatically dropped.  Any insight would be appreciated!!

Can I suggest you add a "category" field in the active listings page so we can customize active view instead of checking every listing one by one?

TWENTY FOUR YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY AND NEVER EVER HAS IT BEEN THIS BAD. I UNDERSTAND THE ECONOMY IS SOMEWHAT BROKEN BUT I THINK ALL THE NUISANCES EBAY HAS INSTITUTED IN THEIR CATEGORIES,POLICIES  ETC HAS HURT. I DISCOUNTED MY ITEMS, GAVE FREE SHIPPING ON MANY ITEMS IT DOESNT MATTER. I JUST BELIEVE EBAY IS NOT SHOWING MANY OF OUR ITEMS IN SEARCH .  THERE HAVE BEEN DOWNTURNS BEFORE IN THE STOCK MARKET, BUT THIS RIDICULOUS, OUTRAGEOUS INFLATION CAUSED BY WASHINGTON HAS BASICALLY PUT THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF OUR SELLING. IF SOMETHING DOESNT CHANGE THIS PLATFORM WILL BE UNVIABLE. YOU WOULD EXPECT MORE FROM A SITE THAT MANAGES TO CHARGE LISTING OR STORE FEES AND THEN CHARGES YOU A PERCENTAGE ON SELLING PRICE PLUS SHIPPING PLUS SALES TAXES TO BE MORE SE
