Hey everyone,
I bought a clothing item from a seller, they said it was worn condition. However it didn’t state or show on the pictures it had green stains and bleach stains (small ones) but they were there. And it was never mentioned. The item also stank of smoke, masked with a strong perfume smell. I messaged the buyer and thanked them for the fast delivery. But stated the condition of the item and the smell, attaching photos. They replied and said they stayed it was worn, I replied saying worn isn’t the same as physically having bleach stains down it. I expressed how I took eBay really seriously and I would never mislead someone on a post about the condition of an item. I spent £13 + postage on this (when I normally get a lot better bargains in better condition). They replied saying they put the starting bid at 99p. I said but it wouldn’t have gone for that high if the bidders new the real condition. He ignored me. So I opened a case, I wasn’t even bothered about a full refund and sending it back. But I just knew if I was to send it back I didn’t want to be out of pocket. They offered me a £1 refund. Which I thought was ridiculous. So I declined it. And was just going to leave it.
Fast forward a day later, I get bids on five of my items extremely fast. Within like 5 seconds of each other. With postage and before fees - coming to £75 worth of items. I thought that was so strange. And it was the same seller, they had bought all of these. It’s been two days for some items and one day for the others - that they haven’t paid. I just don’t trust this seller, I feel like it is bizarre. And I feel like they are going to try and scam me. I was going to open up a not paid case, but I don’t want them to actually then pay me because I will have to send the items off. And I don’t want to cancel the sales, because I don’t want bad feedback. As I really enjoy doing eBay.
does anyone have any advice ?? Thank you

You are in the UK..........I suggest you ask on their boards as returns may be handled differently than here in the US..........

You've reach a community discussion board for the United States site (ebay.com). Assuming your transactions took place on ebay.co.uk, you'll want to post on your home board for the very best advice. Sometimes there are slight nuances in policies and procedures among the various eBay sites. What we tell you applies to ebay.com might not apply to ebay.co.uk.
