Unknown Store Charges...?

I saw that on my most recent invoice that there was the store fee charged to me, which I expected, but since I opened the store I haven't sold one thing. There should be no charges at all. Why in the heck would there be extra charges? I have to wait a couple of days for the invoice to tell me the answer. Meanwhile, does anyone know?  For the record, I am on eBay.ca.

So, if you opened a brick and mortar store and didn't sell anything, would you expect your landlord to not charge you rent.

What kind of a response is that? I sold on eBay for a long time in the past, and have not sold here for a long time. NEVER have I before seen an unknown charge attributed to my account.

There is a monthly charge for your Store, wether you list/sell items or not.

So you're saying they charged you the monthly fee for the store and ALSO charged you additional fees, which to you are unknown?

Did you have any add-ons to your listings that would generate fees?  Go over your limit for your monthly allotment of listings some how?

There is no reason to have any charges beyond the subscription fee, as I have nothing listed. This is my point exactly.

I haven't put up any listings at all, that's just it. I can't imagine how they found anything to charge me for.

So sorry - just have no idea then.  If all you have is a store subscription, I am not certain.  

My store is US based - unless ebay.ca does things differently?

What is the amount of the charge? 

What is the date of the charge? 

What is the description of the charge? 

You shouldn't have to "wait for your invoice" - you should be able to see the detail for each line item charged to your account at any time.

There was no info--date or anything. No description, or I would not be here. But I believe I figured it out. I just read that if someone signs up for a store in the middle of a month, they are charged pro-rated, plus next month's fee. I bet that's it.
