Unable to send invoice

I just sold an item.....I am unable to send the buyer an invoice.....the buyer has also tried to pay unsuccessfully.

Is there an eBay problem right now?

What message do you see when you try to send the invoice?

my listing shows the item as being sold, but "send buyer an invoice" does not appear

Click on the listing.  Hit send invoice.  Send invoice.

I had the same thing happen to me. My buyer bought 2 items and needed an invoice for combined shipping. I called ebay. They told me that they no longer had a contract with the USPS so they no longer offer priority mail shipping as an option. This means I cannot send the invoice with the shipping on it.  They told me to have the buyer pay for the item without shipping, then take the package to the post office and buy shipping there, then use paypal to invoice the buyer for the shipping after I ship the item. Seriously!!! I was on the phone with them for a long time because I could not believe I was hearing this right and I had her explain it at least 3-4 times. I messaged the buyer but have not heard from him. He is probably calling ebay to see if this is true.

An invoice is sent by eBay... yours would be redundant unless you're making shipping cost allowances, etc.

I was trying to send it to combine the shipping on multiple purchases.

I am getting an error when hitting 'send invoice'. Once I select, I get a pop up saying "This form will be sent in a way that is not secure. Are you sure you want to send it?" When I hit send, it is taking me to the "Its not you, its us" page (ebay.com/n/error?statuscode=500). Any ideas if this is something on my end or issues with eBay?
