I'm trying to list some items and I keep getting the following message on the edit page of each item.

It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

PayPal email - Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time.

I have tried to redo the listing from scratch also and it still gives the same message. It appears that ebay is not allowing listings with paypal as the payment method. Does anyone else have this issue and has an answer?

Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time.

The email, not the paypal.........check to see if it's the same one you are using with paypal.

Log into PayPal and make sure that your settings are all correct.

You may need to have a backup funding source in place, which will need to be tested (a few cents in and out) to make sure that it is functioning correctly.

You may also need to provide PayPal with your Tax ID (either your registered business EIN or your SS#) so that they can report your income and or send you a 1099.

It appears that your previous listings were paid via PayPal. Did you perchance get enrolled in the new eBay Managed Payments program?

That was my thought, too. The OP has been around for a while, so I wouldn't imagine general account/e-mail problems

Thank you for the information. I had updated my PayPal account by changing the primary email address. PayPal then sent an email thanking me for providing a tax identification number, even though I had not provided such. After that the listings seem to work again. I am not sure what exactly happened, but I think the tax information was indeed the culprit. Whether it was a glitch or it just needed time, but I hope this helps anyone who has a future problem simillar to mine.

I've been having this same problem for a week or so. My listings are starting to expire and I am unable to relist any of them. Same paypal account I've been using with ebay for 10+ years. No changes, issues when I log in to paypal. No details from ebay. eBay's tech support has no idea. They did tell me there was a known issue but couldn't give me any more information.

I guess I can't use ebay any more?
