So I sold and item , shipped on the 17th via 3 day Priority, it still hasnt arrived, and tracking doesnt say it will be there by tomorrow, only that it arrived at their distribution center 12/22. Buyer is demanding refund because he says it isnt there yet...my ad states no refunds. Ive tried to contact the usps distribution center with no luck , will paypal just auto refund him? What are my options?

Actually I am wondering if E-bay's INR claim prior to the 30 day rule would stand up in a court of law.

If I read about the 30 day rule, most shipping services have that much time to get packages delivered.

I'm sorry to say that my packages have consistently been arriving 4 -5 days after the last date in the estimated delivery time frame. One sat on out for delivery all that time. I signed up online for email updates, and was told delivery exception, which means that tracking has not caught up yet. In this case, reality did not catch up with tracking.

It's just the increased holiday volume. I think all carriers have been slammed.

Hope your buyer gets his package soon. Hopefully he will understand, this is not your fault.

Express Mail is guaranteed to be delivered in one or two days, depending on location.

Normally it would be delivered in about 3 days priority, but now it's the Chris Kringle Christmas Crunch and even so the buyer may have been naughty, not nice, or Kringle may have been detained by authorities who are investigating what is in that pipe he's smoking.

The fact that the package arrived at the buyers distribution center is a good sign. People don't realize the Post office processes tons of mail & packages this time of year. What is the estimated arrival dates? The buyers package will probably arrive tomorrow, Monday December 24. Keep us posted.

Whatever you do - do NOT give a refund while the item is in transit.

Reality is the leading cause of stress.

What happens if they cannot get an item delivered in 2 or 3 days? Do you know? I haven't a clue. You just got me wondering.

If you ship via Express Mail and it is guaranteed to be delivered in one day, the postage would be refunded.

I have quit a few packages stuck in Dallas and Houston.. I have been going to Usps and filing a Missing or lost package ( has to have been shipped 7 days) And It seems to help get the packages upstuck. I have been doing this for over 50 packages I have ordered Starting Thanksgiving.... Try it..... And Good Luck

Thanks will do that for the one's missing more then 7 days
Many seem to have hit the NJ Centers then just say in transit to next Facility so not sure if they are moving or stuck in NJ and the updates just say will arrive later then expected but don't even say what location they are in

Here is a sample of my one email inbox and No the Friday arrive by 8PM one's haven't arrived yet !

Obviously, they won't get refunded until the package ends up being delivered and sent back to the seller.

How many weeks, months, years is the buyer supposed to wait?
