Am I to understand this correctly? Since the good ol' USA is terrible at containing the spread of the virus AND USPS is much, much slower now, my selling to the US level could drop below standard; therefore, creating higher FVF fees for me? Sounds perfectly fair. Some wait 5-6 weeks to receive mail when it used to take about 7-10 business days. I'm at fault for that? Nonsense! That was my say. 🙂 Stay safe.

I always thought the US and the entire world was wonderful at containing the spread of Y2K. I've had no problems since.

Do not understand how we 'control shipping.' Once you give it to the PO, it is completely out of our hands.
You chose the sub-contractor (Canada Post?) for the work (delivery) that your customer paid you for.
The sub-contractor is responsible to you.
You are responsible to your buyer.
You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.- Jayne Cobb
I sent a tracked parcel to NY. They shipped it to Tampa, FL. It finally reached it's destination.
That's spoke and hub distribution. It's best never to look at it and only pay attention to the delivery window.
If it arrives within or before the window, happiness.
If it arrives after the window closed, misery.
The important thing is that parcel that had a nice Florida vacation did get to the customer, well rested and with a nice tan. Was it late?
As @luckythewinner suggests, use USPS instead of Canada Post/USPS. Some Canadians use a forwarder like chitchatexpress for this, if they are conveniently sited.
