Look Out. Things could get far worse before things get better about getting our packages delivered.

Doge is slated to fire 10,000 postal employees. It is unclear as to what positions or when this would start happening. This is likely to be a significant issue for all us sellers that use USPS as our carriers.

It won't be long until this thread gets moved to the Cafe.

It shouldn't. This directly affects sellers. We do not have to go off on the Political side of this.

This is likely to be a HUGE issue for sellers and buyers alike.

It is too soon yet, but Ebay is going to need to find a way to help protect the sellers if this blows up deliveries. Just a little heads up. Nothing more.

I agree with @mam98031 that this thread shouldn't be moved, as this will indeed effect all online sellers.

In fact just a few years ago this is the type of issue that eBay would be addressing with sellers and our government via their eBay Main Street program.

Deliveries are already suffering from a wide variety of reasons.

I live in an urban area and there are days I do not have mail pick up. I never know when it may happen.

The first time it happened I had a mailbox full of packages. That was a heart stopping moment.

And then, my packages may just languish at the Indianapolis hub.

Shipping has been exciting....

I posted yesterday that this news does deserve to be on the seller board, but it was moved--at least only to the shipping board. One poster actually stated they didn't think news stories should be on the board, as if ebay sellers don't work in the real world and current events have no impact on us. 🙄
