Re: Trying to sell virtual items

Are you certain your profits will be enough to jump through the necessary hoops to list them?

If you have never owned a dachshund, no explanation is possible.
If you have owned a dachshund, no explanation is necessary.

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

Adding to the previous post concerning eBay's quite restrictive policy on the sale of electronically delivered goods.

I'm not familiar with the platform, but selling anything from Roblox would appear to violate the Roblox Terms of Use. You'll want to review the Terms of Use yourself to avoid violation of their terms, but here's the verbiage that leads me to advise that you proceed with caution.

Other people sell items that is against tos with 100+ sales, why don't they get banned?

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

If they get reported, they do, Ebay does not police the site.

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

Other people rob banks, too, and commit murder, and, and, and . . .

Just the fact that you sound as though you may willing to ignore the Roblox Terms of Use and/or eBay's policies means you might not be the kind of seller that is appropriate for this site.

You have to own the item and have the rights to sell them.

Unless you make the pets, you don't own them or have the rights to sell them.

Have a great day.

There are many sellers not appropriate for this sight , But that's a whole other conversation!

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

TBH eBay should charge Roblox and Adopt Me- 15 cents for each listings they remove.

Why is eBay cleaning up their mess, if Roblox and Adopt Me are the ones that failed to do their job?

Might as well milk the money out of Adopt me since they're stealing kids money and made it not resellable.

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

OP, as far as I know, Roblox games other than Adopt me are fine from ban hammers.

Adopt me generates 200mil per yr and they spend money on IP lawyers to stop these.

Other games don't bother with these (assuming it costs a lot of money).

Please explain to me how it's stealing money. If I put money into a video game to purchase an in-game item, I get exactly what I pay for: a bunch of pixels. They're not meant to be resellable.

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

direct isn't the only way to steal. just hire YTber to promote their games (with rigged %) and make little kids fall into gamble alike features "5% chance to hatch a legendary pet" and kids spend $50+ on Christmas. People who grew out of the game tries to resell "$100 value item" for $15-20 and gets hit with IP VeRO.

Adopt Me lures new players each year and generates over $200 mil per yr alone.

There's more complicate parts to this, but eh whatever.

Re: Trying to sell virtual items

Still not stealing. "5% chance to hatch a legendary pet" means there's a 95% chance NOT to hatch a legendary pet. And if a kid is spending $50+ it's because their parents gave them that money.

In-game items can't be resold for real cash in ANY game, period. Take a look at the TOS of any game and it will make that very clear. (Trust me, I know, I play about five different games where you can purchase in-game items for cash-- from the game company itself, not from other players. All of them explicitly forbid the selling of items or accounts.)
