Tracking not showing up

Hello,

Might be some sort of temporary problem: I did tracking for 24 items and they are  not showing up at the moment when I typed them into eBay twice under the items. Should be interesting to see what happens. I did shipping the old fashion way with the USPS so there is tracking...not an eBay shipping label. This does affect someone's rating.

I can see why some buyers might get upset when they don't see the tracking. Since this is outgoing I have no way of knowing if the buyer sees it. All I can do is send an email.

Are you saying you can't get the # to register on ebay when you try to enter it into the sold listing area?

Or do you mean USPS isn't showing accepted yet?

Neither one.

USPS has accepted it since I did it in person.

When you type it into listed item sold it goes through. And when you look at it later under sold item it is not showing up. So strange. Got to wonder if buyer can see it.

Can you explain in much greater detail what you mean by "when I typed them into eBay"?

That's very odd...when you manually enter tracking# in EBAY (it should be visible to you).   If you went to ORDERS, EDIT TRACKING and entered tracking# and number is not visible that will be a problem for customers.  I suggest you contact EBAY and also send customer email with the tracking#.

I just purchased an item on EBAY so I can tell what a customer sees.   When customer goes to PURCHASE HISTORY (you see item purchased and a box entitled TRACKING).   When you click on TRACKING it will show you where the package is.    If your tracking# isn't in EBAY system...customer will not be able to tracking package.

HI, This is going to sound dumb and tedious. 

Type one of the numbers into a text document. 

Cut and paste it into the box and see if it holds.  

I know it sounds ridiculous. However, I have had it work in other boxes that wouldn't hold info.
