For The Top Rated Plus Sellers, Do you think you get better visibility?, Do you think your sales are better than others who are not Plus??, What discount & benefits do you really get??, Are free returns worth it??, I deal mainly in collectibles, & I do not want people having 30 days to play with, possibly break or damage my item & then get to return it on my buck!, I see they have done away with the free shipping requirement, So that part is good.

Let's go a step further, there are even some categories, you don't even need to accept returns at all. You can be TRS+ with 1 day handling and "NO returns" ("NO" because no never means no).
Includes Wristwatches, Trading Cards, various Pet Supplies categories, Printer Ink, & more categories, including my favorite, bullion 😉

No, there's no TR-Plus badge with those excepted categories: "In some product categories, we'll extend the discount benefit (but not the seal) even if you don't offer 30-day free returns."

Would you mind sharing the policy that allows a no return policy in conjunction with TRS+.
You can offer 14-day returns in the following categories:

@nobody*s_perfect posted the link. So what you are talking about is correct, it is just the TRS+ ribbon will not show on their listings but they would qualify for the discount if they also have a 1 day handling policy.

Ok, this one is kind of buried. I've only ever seen it written in this one location. Apparently it has been around a long time... a few sellers I know reference the 2012 Spring Seller Update (in their listings) as justification for no returns in the bullion category.
Go to this link: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-policies/seller-standards-policy?id=4347&#top-rated-plus
A little more than half way down the page is the section titled "eBay Top Rated Plus Requirements and Benefits"
At the BOTTOM of that section, is an expandable section if you click on "See the full list of circumstances where the discount benefit applies
Then opens a list of circumstances where you are required to offer either 14 day returns, 30+ day but buyer pays return shipping, or "no returns".
Apparently EBay doesn't want people knowing about this policy so they buried it 😉 LOL

My bad, nobody*s_perfect pointed out it's the FVF discount that applies, but not the listing seal. So TRS+ benefits but not TRS+ "Listing Status"?

Honestly, I have mixed feelings towards the TRS+ ribbon. Personally when I see that ribbon my first thought is "I'm going to be paying extra just because that person has a ribbon" lol. My mind automatically goes there...
I picture it as when you get a bill in the mail (utility, phone, whatever) and it has all those fees and taxes itemized. I picture seeing the listing price broken down into an itemized list that makes up the total listing price and there is an added cost charged to the buyer entitled "TRS+ Ribbon Fee". Like every listing automatically gets jacked up X% in price when they meet the qualifications for TRS+... because they can!

I constantly bounce back and forth between being a TRS and Above Standard as my sales within a given 12 month period don't always meet the metric for a TRS. i never really worried about "visibility" only sales and I have found little difference in sales during the times when I as a TRS and when I was not.
As for free returns I have never offered that simply because like you I considered it a buy it try it temptation for buyers. However, in reality with the protection the buyers have under the MGB there is probably little difference. Hard to say how many buyers actually ever request or claim a remorse return.

Ebay states your listing will get better visibility, I am not confused

So you don't have to offer everything as a free return?

Free returns is not a requirement for TRS status.
Free returns IS a requirement for a listing to show the TR-Plus badge. You can choose to have this on some listings but not on others because TR-Plus is a listing status, not a seller status.
Free returns is not required to get the 10% FVF discount in several specific categories referred to above, but they won't show the TR-Plus badge.

Yes if you qualify as a seller to be TRS. That is not the same as getting the discount on FVFs if you qualify your listings.
