My account is clearly throttled.

If you want me to leave your platform... SAY IT.  Otherwise... stop artificially limiting my sales and exposure.

I'm curious as to how you know this?

You have sold 27 items in the last 90 days and have 22 active listings. Given the narrow category you sell in what makes you think, or what proof do you have, that your account is "throttled"?

Even if you had proof your account was being throttled, (and you don't), what do you expect any of us here to do about it?

The number of unhappy customers leaving poor reviews on Feedback, and some ill-advised responses to them, has no effect on sales?

If anything is throttling your account, it's your 21 negatives and the responses you leave to those negatives.

Just so you are aware. You are posting in a Community discussion board for eBay buyers and sellers.
Your post won't be read or acted upon by eBay.
Many places in the US are way too hot to be shipping those products so that could be the reason you aren't selling your fish, snails etc. Those items you sell wouldn't last if shipping was delayed.
Many of your listing do say to check temperatures.

The few item's you're selling, don't think there would be a big demand for them.

And the 97% feedback probably doesn't help.

Have a great day.

I expect your feedback and your responses to them 'throttled' your own account.

I don't think this depend by feedback and response you leave. I have below 96% all the time, and sometimes with unpopular response to feedback, and still continue to sell. Now, i'm in gold category, that is one of the most hard and competitive. There is scammers  and below average trolls that dream on any listings to make money and double or triple their investment. I specified clearly in my descriptions, that they are purchasing from a professional seller that has is own profit and that, my items are perfectly described with all properties, but they still continue to harass or whine on everything.

For this reasons, i think that you are too lazy, and must improve your offer. Kind regards.

Seeing your replies to feedback, I feel eBay would be justified in throttling your account.

Or maybe buyers don’t want to risk being doxxed should something go wrong with the purchase.

There really isn't much to do about it OP.
We all struggle with this, every day.

It's a function of the economy that we ALL voted for.  Our "leaders" serve at our pleasure, after all.  We put them there, we allow them to stay there.  It's our fault.

One thing you don't need to worry about, in my opinion, is your feedback.  That is the 'go to' for many here when someone comes and complains about anything.  "Your feedback is low" and/or "your responses are snarky" ...   They've said the same thing about MY responses.  LoL.

It doesn't matter if I'm standing behind the counter of my B&M, or behind a keyboard ... I am a cranky old man.  "Hey, control your kids.  I don't want them climbing the shelves."   I used to have a sign on the door, "Dog's welcome, children must be on leash."  Some didn't like it ... tough.  "It must be YOUR kids I'm talking about then, eh?"

When I get negative comments like that, I purposefully give the poster a taste ... why?   I will always defend myself, and I don't need anybody's permission.  Also, I don't want his friends to come to me.  People like that .. you don't want.  If your post keeps ONE ash-hole away ... it's worth it.  IMO.

Aside from that ... I have come up with a couple of tactics that has increased my traffic considerably over the last six months.
PM me and I'll tell you about it.

I don't want to talk about it here, in public.

It is $0 investment, and about a half hour a day time, and should show an increase in traffic after about two weeks.

I don't want to do it here, for several reasons.

They are using separate accounts to post on the community pages not their selling or buying accounts. Love how you accepted your own response as a solution to your question, glad you found your own solution to your question. 🙂

Who knows what a poster who is willing to publicly post their buyers’ full name and address in their replies to feedback received could do to a responder’s listings if they didn’t like their answer?

Thats why I use a posting ID.
