Threat of suspension

ebay says I need to get better ratings. Well I am no longer selling on your site. Ebay threatening to suspend my account.

 

I guess there will be one less buyer on Ebay if I get suspended and they will have less money as I been spending 10k or more a year.

The message you posted only talks about restricting your selling activities. 

A selling restriction does not prevent you from buying.

If you are looking for sympathy, you are unlikely to get it from sellers.

We work hard to keep our pictures clear, our descriptions accurate, our products authentic, our shipping prompt and secure, and to serve our customers as we would like to be treated.

It takes some doing to accumulate enough Defects to get a "possible restriction" message.

If you're only buying and not selling and got that message, I might be a little concerned that your computer has been phished and your passwords are no longer secure.  Check your selling folders to see if there are items for sale that you do not recognize.

Sellers that lose control of their passwords often will have someone else trying to steal someone else's money and use the unaware seller as the fall guy.

New seller + used electronics + auction style + "no returns" is a bad recipe. I'd throttle-down a tad and list some inexpensive, lower-risk items until you get a foothold. You might buy and spend a lot, but you're a freshman seller and that's different. Good luck~

Ebay is asking you to be a better seller, that is the whole point. Fix the issues that are causing the notice. It is that simple.

I was suspended restricted for some my ex sister in law did on her account.  Apparently we are the same person according to eBay.  With two separate addresses ss# ,IDs, etc.

Evidently eBay found some connection between the two of you.

They did not imply that you were the same person.

I got the same threat but they have me marked for 'If evaluated today I am top rated.'   LOL!   Waiting 1 week to be top rated again.  How can I improve on that??  😛

I think TRS is reviewed every 30 days by the robots.

Whatever made you drop (not entering tracking numbers is one, slow sales can be another) has repaired itself.

Since we both are eligible for Global TRS,  we don't have to track very often, unlike our American colleagues.
