The "Shop with sales proceeds" message will not go away ...

Last week the "Shop with sales proceeds" popped up on my Seller Hub Overview page, it bumped ALL my tiles over one.  I used the "X" to close it.  It stayed away until today and now every time I go to the Overview page it comes back.  It will NOT stay closed.  This has become rather annoying.  Once that "X" is hit on an account that reminder should be moved to the Payments tab as a SMALL (emphasis on Small) banner reminder that Available funds can be used to purchase on eBay.

Clicking that thing closed a dozen times in one day is sending a clear message that there is NO interest at this time.

That's a great deal of trouble for something that's all on one page.  They need to just get rid of the silly alert tile.

Moved mine to the end/ bottom yesterday and, unlike clicking the x which never worked for more than the moment, it is still where I put it today... good deal on THAT! 👍

it's by design - ebay losing money so they want to take all their sellers income now... so they programed it to just keep appearing on a refresh every time you enter overview page.

@mybigsale   Okay, that has worked overnight so I'm calling that the "Best answer" for this thread ... of course the true fix is having that "X" get rid of that AD completely ...

@dietaryconsultant you mean the app on your phone? Just delete it... I use iphone so to remove app scroll to the page the app is on on your home screen, press and hold the screen, all the apps will then shake and have an "x" on them, hit the x on the ebay app, option will come up to delete the app...follow the prompts.

Currently eBay is forcing this panel/message to be displayed whether you want it or not (thus the workaround to move the message). 

I believe @mr_lincoln has made it known to eBay staff that sellers would like the option to not display the message.  I do not know if the option to remove the message is considered a bug or feature by eBay; and if it is a bug, if/when they will fix the "X" to permanently remove the message or by other method in the app.  🙄

@mybigsale i see what they meant now...just the message - yeah, well good luck, can't until ebay awesome techs decide to program the message correctly... being it's same for PC and app this message... maybe they will fix it soon.

@mybigsale   There is also that annoying "Splash page" ad right after entering Username and PW during log in ... I would tell you what it's about but I click the "Continue" button so fast I am clueless LOL!

On a side note:  Thanks to the Catpcha security function I am once again a Human!!!  It is good to prove that on a regular basis ...
