The Notification Bell is now Red? Hmm?

Interesting.  Not exactly sure how I feel about that.

Maybe they can shake things up a little.  Red for offers, Green for sales, Yellow for questions and so on....

I noticed that too.  With ALL the things that needs fixing here, they decided to  change the color of the notification bell. Good work ebay!

The Notification Bell is now Red? Hmm?

That was the first thing I noticed when I logged in this morning lol
I do like the idea of the different colors for different things though

I'll get used to it, but at first seeing "red" was startling and made me think something awful had just happened to my account.  Then I saw it was a watched list notification.😖

Look at the bright side!

After being an Amazon seller for 12 years, whenever I see a red notification my heart skips a beat. Glad this is just a nothingburger. Still, the first time I saw the bell as red instead of yellow, I had that Amazon red flag feeling for a second!

The Notification Bell is now Red? Hmm?

Quite a while ago eBay went through a period of randomly changing the colour of the little door icon for stores between blue and red - sometimes several times a week.  OK, granted, this was a little strange to look at, but then someone on one of the old forum boards got the idea that somehow this was some kind of code for a boost in search for that particular store (like a blue light special, I guess).  A load of people jumped on this bizarre theory with depressing alacrity and for weeks there were posts discussing the door colour for various stores, comparing sales and door colour, tallying their sales for that day according to door colour, etc. etc.  Someone may even have plotted some kind of chart.  Then it stopped.

Mine was a yellowish orange before the change.
It still is one certain pages.

My cart shows items in when it's empty.  I know if I click on and open it, the items notification will go away...but I refuse to out of spite.  😘

Reminds me of a time maybe 10+ years ago when there was a giant conspiracy theory that your visibility was tied to the first 4 digits of the Listing/Item number.

It was always orange for me.

Now it's like a dark red actually.
