I have items for sale that I have listed at the Buy It Now price and didn't see the option to give Buyers a change to make a Best Offer; yet when I view the listing, eBay automatically added "Make a Best Offer". So it appears on many of my items for sale. I now have an item that I would like to make sure Buyers can add a Best Offer and I still don't have the option to add that; nor is it being added automatically any longer.
So I switched my listing to a 7 day auction with a Buy It Now Price. ...but this is not what I wanted. I wanted to list it as Buy It Now or Make a Best Offer yet I cannot. Are you only allowed so many Best Offer listings per month?

Love your Picture, the American Flag and a Rainbow.
No limit to Best Offer listings.
All your listings show a Best Offer except the ones on auction.
The Franklin notebook is on auction but doesn't have a buy-it-now.

I am having the same problem on my auctions as well. I don't see the option at all when I list it, but yet it shows up randomly in my listings. I'm quite perplexed.

Same here. I just put up 5 buy it now listings. There's no longer a box to check when setting up an item listing so that you can take "best offers." 4 of my 5 listings have best offer automatically. One does not and I don't know how to turn it on.
Really frustrating.

I just got off the phone with eBay support, and it would appear that there are now two different selling interfaces. A simple one, which does not have the best offer option, and an advanced one, which does. To start using the advanced selling interface, click "sell", like you're going to list an item, but instead of typing in an item description click on "Switch to Advanced Listing Tool" in the upper right corner of the page. Once the switch has been made, you should be able to revise your current listings with the advanced tool and manually specify whether best offer is available for that listing.
I hope this helps. It had me pulling my hair out too.

You may have been switched to the New Quick Listing tool.
You can switch to the Advanced Tool by clicking on 'save and exit’ at the bottom of the quick listing tool and then you will see 'advanced form' on the top right of the new page.
From the advanced tool you can adjust duration, best offer, and plenty of other options not available with the new quick tool.

I had this problem when I was already in the advanced listing tool. I had to change to the quick listing tool in order to find a checkbox that I could uncheck to allow offers.
