Taxes are done!

Had my taxes done, Everything went well, no problem with the 1099K from ebay, even getting a decent refund.

I just got my refund in the bank last week, Fed paid for my accountant and got all my state back I paid in. 4% sales increase from prior year but didn't pay any income tax, the only tax I paid was FICA, didn't earn enough for self employment tax.

You're doing it right, then. No refund is "good" - letting the govt hold onto YOUR money in some kind of no-interest "savings" account is poor money management - anyone can do better investing their own money, and then just paying a bit on their taxes when they are due.

Let's hope all of the eBay sellers filing for the first time realize that it isn't that hard and doesn't have to be a bad experience.

Let's also hope that they don't buy the fantasy that the IRS will be abolished, and paying up doesn't matter. The IRS doesn't forgive or forget.
