Hi, all. Well my Starter Store is due to renew starting June 1, 2019. I have the year subscription. Normally (nothing normal here now lolol), about a month before the renewal is due I would get an email (both personal and messaging) that it was up for renewal and with choices to continue, upgrade, or cancel. Well it is now May 10 and nothing.

Nowhere is there any eBay notice that your Store auto renews without input from the seller? So I guess it will just renew on its own and then if I want to cancel, I'll faced with a penalty fee? Anyone else see this? Or not see this?

In addition, my Seller Page now shows my current Starter period May 1-June 1...AND with an additional 50 freebies for the same period. I do know, like last year, that this 50 free is a dummy promo that took weeks to disappear from my page last year. Another glitch in their program which obviously was never fixed. Have no clue which Blue to call in to resolve this...

One of my stores was due for renewal May 1 and I did not get a "reminder" notice until the last week of April, which I seem to remember was about the same time the previous year. As long as you cancel your store no later than May 31 (or change what you want to do), then you should have no issues. If you do nothing by that date your store will automatically renew for another 12 months which I believe is disclosed when you first sign up for an annual store subscription.

Either way I hope this helps and you are able to do what ever it is you are wanting to do. I ended that store subscription on May 1 as I just cannot justify the time and effort for the views and sales i was getting. I would probably have renewed the store if the BIN had not been changed to GTC and Ebay followed it up with a useless Seller Protection Spring Seller Update.

Sorry you didn't get your email. My store renews at this time of year too and I did get my email a while back. You can check yours anytime you want at this link.

You can find that under your Manage Your Store, on the left side of your screen, down at the bottom called Managed Subscriptions.

When you are signed up for a yearly subscriptions, Ebay tells you it will auto renew unless you stop it from renewing. So yes you were told that, it may have been long ago when you did the original subscription, but it was told to us.

If you want to close your store and you didn't get that email update. Call Ebay, tell them what happened and see if they might forgive any penalty for you. They may just work with you on that.

I'm not sure what you are saying about the 50 listings.

My store renewed On May 1st and I go the email about it renewing on April 21st.

Thank you both for your input. NO...I did not get a notice as in the past...and when I downgraded from Basic (after 4 years) to Starter in May 2018 there was no notice or information given it would auto renew without a notice. And no, it is not in my spam folder. Bottom line, no notice.

MAM: Thanks for the link, but I had already accessed it before I posted which is why I asked my question as it triggered the question ? huh...I didn't get a notice? As far as the 50 free in addition to my Starter? There is no active promotion for any 50 free promots and this same thing happened last year when I was downgrading from Basic to Starter. Their program ? obviously adds that 50 assuming I am a non-store owner and I get the 50 free...it is a bogus 50 free promo. There have been other threads about this both last year and currently, and sorry, I do not have a thread I can cite for you at the present time.

3. Subscription Renewals

Your Stores subscription is automatically renewed by the length of your subscription term, unless you cancel your subscription. A monthly subscription is automatically renewed each month until you cancel it. Likewise, a yearly subscription is automatically renewed each year until you cancel it. Such automatic renewal is continuous, and you will be billed for each continuous subscription term at the applicable rates, which are subject to change. If you have a yearly subscription, we'll contact you at least 15 days prior to the end of the term of your subscription via email or a message sent to My eBay to remind you that the term of your subscription will automatically renew.

Since you did not get that email, call Ebay and do whatever it is you wanted to do with your subscription. Downgrade, upgrade or cancel. Since you didn't get the email, they should work with you. But I wouldn't wait to long to call or they may not help.

Thanks again for the info. So, being on a yearly script, I should expect some notice 15 days prior to June 1 as I read this policy. So maybe I should just wait and see if I do get a notification. In past years, it was almost a full month notice. Sorry, am Math dyslexic so maybe I will get a notice at least by May 17 (but have included Saturdays/Sundays non-biz days). We shall see. Hopefully so. But if you are in need of changing or ending your subscription, why not just take care of it now. You know when your subscription renews. You need a 30 day notice of change. I'm not sure why you are waiting for the email before making a change?

My Premium store was up for automatic renewal (YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION) on May 1st, I did not get a EBAY Generated message until April 21st. 9 days before automatic renewal.

Both parkersparrow and I received our emails 9 days before renewal not 15 days.

I took a peek when I received mine and it was April 21st for a May 1st renewal. So the same as the others have reported.

Just tagging - I too am up for renewal on 6/1 and was wondering where the reminder was as I thought I had gotten it about 30 days before the renewal date. I save all my correspondence but it looks like after so many days even archived messages are deleted.

Good to know I'll receive something around the 21st.

If you're aware of the rollover date, why do you care about getting the reminder? Why not just make your decision now?

I have all my Ebay emails sent to my private email address. That way I can keep whatever I want for as long as I want.

I really had not remembered my rollover date until the OP asked me when my store renewed and I had a hard time finding it - if you want to know the truth. I'm not making my decision now as sales s*ck and I'm not sure if I'll drop down to a starter store or just do the 50 free on all 3 IDs I have and move the rest elsewhere.

My emails do come to my private email address but except for invoices - keep everything else in folders here as I did not realize that they were erased after a certain period. Now I know better.
