To @maxine*j, and any others who are interested to know which countries will be using Payoneer to receive payments, instead of a bank checking account.
The Managed Payments eBay team has posted an information post today, for sellers who are being asked to register for MP with Payoneer.

This confirms most of what we have already figured out, but it also explains which countries will be using Payoneer.
- Basically, all countries except for: "... the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area (except Iceland) ... "
So, the countries listed above will be using the model we are familiar with in the USA, where Adyen processes the payments and deposits them into the seller's linked checking account.
Anywhere else, managed payments will be working with Payoneer. (I have no idea what company will be processing the payments, but it has been said elsewhere that this is done because Adyen can't work with those countries. Possibly, Payoneer is processing the payments.)
