Sports Card Listings

This is terrible. I'm guessing whoever is doing the changes to the sports card listing, knows nothing about selling cards. All of this info was already there. Now I have 1000 listing that I have to go back in and enter it all again. Then when you fill them in, they don't stay. You have to go back and do it again. Once you say that your card isn't graded, that should be the last question. Instead Ebay has 2 more questions. And 1 of the questions you can only put an answer to on the computer and not your phone. This is terrible. My sales have tanked because of this and I have no interest in adding the same item specifics to a thousand listings. Anyone heard what eBay is going to do about this? No one in customer service is very helpful.

Yep, same problem here,  the item specifics magically disappeared from the majority of my over 1,470 listings this week. I updated over 300 yesterday, and I just dont have the energy to do anymore.

Meanwhile, ebay is threatening to start removing listings that dont have required item specifics, yet ebay deletes them over and over again.

I spoke to an ebay rep about this situation, they acknowledged there were issues with item specifics, but it doesnt appear ebay has any plans on fixing it. Its been several days now and I'm assuming I will have to reenter all of them!

Yea I’ve fixed 50 of mine and I’m exhausted! Feels like I’m going 5 different places to finish 1 item specific’s and then it doesn’t seem to take. I’m about to say hell with them! And just start fresh listing and let the others run out 1 by 1 over time! Hell I don’t know what eBay is gonna do cause at thesis rate they will have no one selling no one buying and boom out of business or bankrupt!

I cant enter new listings either. Out of business for 3 days. The categories are messed up. I keep fixing my 300 listings and the changes don't take...

Nothing about this makes sense to me. It's like a 20 step process for each card to get all the item specifics. It's going to take forever for me to update this. And most of the info is useless. On top of that it seems that all the information I had previously had for each listing is removed so I have to retype the Player, sport, attributes etc. What is going on here?  And what happens if I ignore it? Will my listings be deleted? So frustrating.

Hey, DJ, long time no see! They created this same debacle back in October 2019...guess they will never learn. Same exact problems now as 2019. That year they wouldn't let you list or revise if you didn't do changes, but sellers screamed loud enough, they fixed that...so are you just assuming they will end or not allow you to list?

Yes, definitely worried they will start deleting listings they deem incomplete over missing required item specifics. Here all my listings already had them, but ebay just deletes, I re-add them, ebay deletes them again. Its a vicious cycle.

I'm so aggravated over all of this right now. I spent the last couple of days editing hundreds of listings, its a huge unnecessary disruption to sellers lives.

I was gone for a moment there as I had closed my store for a couple of weeks, I plan to take more breaks too. I see a lot of frustrations sellers are going thru right now. Sometimes its best to take a break and just breathe.
