Need some clarrification please

We have had a member coming to the Australian boards claiming to be ella@seller_update see pic

There is no eBay logo appearing and the replies are generic - can somene from eBay please confirm if this person is indeed eBay staff and has been postinng on Au boards?

On the US boards, at least, the account appears to be a recently created staff account:

Possibly the lack of eBay logo down under is related to the recent board upgrades, or the way that accounts are treated differently on different sites, or something about how the account was initially set up. That is just a guess, though.

There was some recent discussion about how staff accounts appear on the US site since recent board changes, and about the eBay logo no longer appearing in threads that have been responded to by eBay staff.

If that account is going to be used to make official announcements on other sites, eBay should make sure it appears as an official staff account there as well, to avoid any possible confusion.
