I think it's very uncool to have other peoples sponsored listing to show up in my item descriptions!!!!! I don't pay as much money as I do to be selling other peoples items! The only items to show up in my listings should be my own!!!
A little late to the pity party. Sellers have been complaining about promoted listings for years. eBay employees job task everyday is to squeeze more out of PL's. There are probably a hundred listings on your item's page with the carousels. If you pay to promote, your items are on other seller's item's pages. You also have your listings come up on Google. eBay is now in the process of making things even worse with Offsite Ads Beta.
To be blunt.......it doesn't matter what you think...... the ship has sailed on other listings showing up on a listing page...... They are going to stay........ and if you look at the "extras"......not all are promoted listings......so there is a chance that YOUR item could show up on someone else's listing page.........
