Sorting with Lowest Price

Hello ,

As an experienced user of Ebay ( 15 years) , we used to sort the items from Lowest price to Higher price .

Now i can not find that option and i can see another option Lowest Price + Shipping .

Every seller has different shipping prices to different locations .

As a seller when i am trying to sell an item it is getting very hard to scroll down all items and try to figure out the cheapest price and the average price for the item .

Anybody know how to sort a searched item from Lowest price to Highest Price (without shipping price) ? I can not see it on the sorting types anymore....

Regards

Alper

There is no search available for lowest price only (exclusive of shipping).

The search is designed to assist buyers in finding the best price on an item based on their shipping destination. It is not designed to assist sellers in determining a price for their inventory. If that's how you're using it, you'll just have to figure out how to price your items with the information it provides.

Re: Sorting with Lowest Price

I believe that when eBay added the new "Price + Shipping: Lowest First" sort, the old "Lowest First" sort was removed. I dug up the old parameters used in the search URL, and adding that to the search now defaults to "Best Match", so the functionality appears to no longer exist.

I agree that adding shipping to the sort complicates things when searching for multiple quantities, as the shipping changes depending on the quantity desired.

One trick that might be useful: it is possible to filter out all the listings that have less than a certain number of units available; that way if you are looking for quantity 4 or above, you do not have to check each listing individually to see how many are available, at least.

I missed where the OP said anything about listings with multiple quantities available. Is that somewhere in his/her post?

Re: Sorting with Lowest Price

Click on the blue words ADVANCED SEARCH in the upper right of most screens.
Scroll down to SORT BY and these choices are available
Time: Ending soonest
Time: Newly listed
Price + Shipping: Lowest First
Price + Shipping: Highest First
Distance: Nearest first
Best Match

That option has been gone for YEARS.

If you are looking for price only, the only tool I have found to use is

Apparently, it's been a long time since the OP has been interested in using it.

I misunderstood the original post; the mention of "average price" likely just meant the average price of individual items from different sellers without including shipping, rather than what I thought -- the average cost of multiple items from the same seller.

However, it would be handy to be able to specify a quantity desired, and limit the results to sellers that have that quantity available and then sort the results by price plus shipping for the total quantity plus total shipping rather than the individual price plus individual shipping.
