Today I received messages from someone accusing me of sending them the wrong item. The first message was (name censored):
"Hi, I m sorry u sold me wrong perfume, roll on I wanted eau Vive don t u have that, I got sent chance by chance that s it on name then there s yr name on bottom, can I get refund, this is ridiculous! Thanx, G--------"
Then there was a second message soon afterwards:
"Hi, hopefully u received my message about refund, this chance by channel is not what I wanted! Thanks, G--------"
This person confirmed the order, paid and I packed and shipped it promptly with tracking. I kindly let them know that they did in fact ordered what they received. The crazy part about all of this? The date of the transaction in question is December 29, 2017! The stuff buyers try to pull never ceases (and no, they did not get a refund).

Very incoherent emails. I would agree, this is ridiculous, but I don't mean what the customer means!
If that is not what they wanted, then they should not have bought it. Plain and simple.
Possibly someone that wanted some quick cash, IMO.
If you write a book, you now have the first page, LOL!

No problem...they have six months to file SNAD with the Pal if ebay kicks them to the curb. Wait for it.

Sounds like a candidate for the BBL

Hopefully, having been rebuffed, she will just slink off into the distance.

So the buyer is inadvertantly trying to say she got the perfume 5 months ago but just now noticed it was the wrong perfume ? oh okay . I might could see that happening with a gift perfume but not one a woman buys herself . This reminds of the time someone tried to trick me into thinking they had bought something from when they really didn't . She wanted to know where her order was . After I checked my sold listings , she wasn't there . She was also pretty vauge in the description of what she supposedly ordered . Pff ! Tulips

Out of curiosity, what does this mean in your listings:
This is a designer emulated women’s fragrance. The trademark is the property of its respective owner.
Are you making your own perfumes, printing your own labels with brand names on them along with your ID? If so, do you have permission from the brands to use their names?
While your buyer appears more than a little confused, a small part of that confusion seems to be the label with your name on it.

Some of your listings are not following ebay policies. Using brand names without authorization, as well as selling replicas, is not allowed, even with a disclaimer. Here is the link to the policy:

This is curious. Possibly the buyer thought they were buying the real thing, but did not, based on the description. So there is more here than meets the eye, and it's not just a confused customer.

Apparently, Some will try anything.

If buyer goes through Paypal, the time difference won't matter. Confused as the buyer is, they could still do that.

I find it curious the OP never returned to the thread.

The buyer was asking for a different item altogether now (something that I have never heard of). I think she is just trying for something free of charge.

As far as "wrong", I assume they believe that they only just realized that they purchased something other than what they wanted... Then again, I think they just want something else for free.
