I just went to look up a sold item so I could use the sell similar feature and the item was not listed. I went back to my email and clicked on the link from there from the day it was sold. It does not click anymore. I just contacted support and they said they just made a change that the history is now 90 days instead of 2 years. When you search for a sold item from the search feature in eBay, it is also only 90 days of History. This is a horrible change. I use sell similar all of the time and now I have to spend five times the amount of time to list items. The items I sell, disc golf discs, have many variables and specific details to each one. Not only that, but I base my pricing on the last two years of sold item history. Now I do not have access to that.

you can find the sold history in the Research tab in Seller hub...... you cannot bring up the actual listing, just see what items were sold for how much during the last 3 years.......

Sadly I use the history for the sell similar feature because there are so many specific details in every item that I sell. It will take me an extra 10 to 15 minutes per item without using sell similar. This is the dumbest change they've ever made. For people like me that do hundreds of items and use the sell similar feature for most of them this is going to create a ton of extra work which is going to result in me listing less items which will decrease the amount of profit they make off of me. If you multiply that times many thousands of eBay sellers they are going to be losing much more in fees than they will in hard drive storage to keep two years of history

Try using DDG or google search with the item title and your seller id., or set up a pinterest free account and "share" it with that account and your listing(s) will stay there forever and can retrieve (copy) it.

There was no change. While you can see 2 years of (limited) order details, you could never access the actual listings past 90 days except in rare situations where the system missed removing them.
Listings have been removed at the 90 day mark for what - 10 years? 20 years? Longer? It's been so long I can't remember.

I think it was around the time of Stores to Core (2006), prior to that you could find old listings (by Listing Number) going back 2 - 3 years and from the listing page you could leave feedback as well as do a relist.
I found something interesting today on one of my low level selling accounts, I noticed that my Payout this week was REALLY small, in the details I found that I was billed for PL fees on 4 different listings, one of those listings was from March 2024 (all 4 were very old sales), When I clicked on it I was shown the complete listing and could do a relist from that page.
In a way I'm not surprised, I've always been sure that eBay maintains a database with every listing or at least every listing that has a sale, probably in an offline database which they probably had to reactivate in order to bill the missing(?) PL fees.
