Here we are again, yet another glitch or bug where now my account balance is about $400 too high. I wonder how many people have paid theirs without noticing this supposed "glitch"
I know I can't be the only one who has noticed the absolutely no "glitch" or "bug" has ever done anything other than hurt the sellers and help eBay. Sure would be nice if it worked out in our favor once.

LOL so this chick that waits 3 weeks to return what was a sealed toy that she let her kid open, play with and break after 3 weeks has done this before, according to her feedback. I’ve already started sending my listings to other platforms. It’s not the $15 toy. It’s the mail fraud and scamming that eBay continually encourages that I’m sick of. It’s kk though, good luck getting your continual $500 in fees from me and my Repeat buyers. I’m done. She sells 7 over priced and ugly clothing items. Good thing too cuz all the toys I’m moving to other platforms definitely wouldn’t be highly desired this coming Christmas Season. 😆 Congratulations EBay! 👏 You played yourself! They can invoice whatever they want Ive already moved on. I love these forums though. Very entertaining

Crud, that's too bad - I guess my theory of them adding on last month's bill is incorrect.
This is all so crazy!
Has yours been fixed yet?
And I'm surprised there is only a handful of people on this thread? Did it only affect a few people? What a strange glitch.

brian@ebay or tyler@ebay , to follow up on @Anonymous 's posts on this thread (and elsewhere) about the premature relisting issue and overcharged invoices:
The overcharges on my invoice paid Oct. 30 were not corrected. EBay has overcharged my account for insertion fees. It's actually a double overcharge, because those FP listings had been deducted from my "free" store allotment.
When people reported the problem end of September and early October, and at mid-month when invoices with overcharges were issued, staff asked that people not call Customer Service, because the overcharged fees would be corrected.
Should I now call CS? What should I tell them to get a credit for the overcharges?
Thank you.

Hi @tree*fern - thanks for letting us know! We were under the impression this had been resolved for all members by the 18th.
Brian and I will be looking into this and we'll update this thread as we learn more. For now, please don't call CS for manual credits (we'll be using your account as an example with tech).

Thanks tyler@ebay ! It's the invoice for my store account. It's not a huge overcharge, but there should have been $0 insertion fees.
For me to incur real insertion fees Oct. 1 to 3, I would have had to use up my entire basic store allotment for the month on Oct. 1. Of course that didn't happen - I didn't list 250 FP listings on Oct. 1.

I will never sell on eBay again. I was charged for every cancelled transaction that a scammer tried to get me with, and if I wouldn't have called, I would have never got my money back. I called last night, and still haven't received my payment nor a confirmation, and I'm STILL getting charged random fees as we speak, even though I didn't officially sell anything. And my shipping labels I voided have been pending for over a week. They're quick to take your money, but not quick to give you mo ey back. This is why eBay is so unpopular now.

Hi @tree*fern, I've looked into this and want to give some clarity about what you are reporting and what @Anonymous was referring to earlier in this thread. The issue that occurred earlier this month caused incorrect fees/total to appear on the 'New activity not yet invoiced' section of the Seller Account page. That was a display error only.
The issue you are reporting (that incorrect insertion fees are appearing on your invoiced fees) is a different known issue. Some sellers were charged insertion fees even though they had free listings available which should have been used. I have credited the insertion fees for the items charged at the beginning of October. You should see this on your account shortly. Thanks for letting us know about this!

If it's a known issue, why aren't those credits automatic?
I'm not trying to be snarky, it's a real question. With all of the site problems we're dealing with right now and in the midst of the holiday selling season, calling about a known fee issue isn't something that should be added to our plate. eBay knows about the issue so they should be automatically crediting affected sellers.

Thanks brian@ebay ! I sent Tyler an email. There should have been $0 insertion fees charged on the invoice (overcharges Sept. 30 to Oct. 3).
