Ebay really keeps failing as a great place to sell!
Bad enough you have to pay such high selling fees but nothing gets clicked on if you don't pay to promote your listings but to have the sponsored listings being set between the listings pictures& the sellers description is just straight up ridiculous ! So many canceled orders because of this!
I'm also finding when you have to relist the item esp on ebay motors they/ebay DOES NOT credit you the selling&relisting fees! I've had to call it in every time! Then half the time I'm told it's all set& should see the credit shortly & don't so have to call again& again! GETTING SO FED UP WITH EBAY's lack of respect for sellers

It's all about the money. The money eBay is raking in that is - the sellers are simply a wallet with eBay's fingers in it.
Sorry, it is what it is here.

Good thing there are a lot of great alternatives these days.

How is it causing canceled orders?

The BEST way to combat that is to make SURE you have the absolute LOWEST price. The buyer has no reason to buy it from someone else. They can put 500 similar items on your page and it shouldn't affect your sales.
Since you have under 100 items listed it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to find the lowest price currently on eBay for each of your items. For example the Sheriff Pig cookie jar you just listed for $100.00 with free shipping. There is a identical cookie jar on eBay for $25.00 plus shipping. Lower it to $45.00 with free shipping and you should sell it.
