With no prompting whatsoever from me, Cliff is in the basement reminiscing over old year book pictures (he's 80 next year) and throwing stuff away! Two baby books and moth eaten baby clothes that his mother saved and for some reason we brought back from Texas after her death have been trashed. Miscellaneous faded picture albums, as well as a time line he drew for himself in scroll form 50 years ago so he could keep the Romans straight from the Mycenaens is also "history" (pun intended!) From his discard pile I've gathered up a large convex glass picture frame I didn't know was still there (although I can't imagine how I'd ship it to get it to someone in one piece), and also his slide rule, with leather case and book (looks like there will be a market for those items once I get past trying to unload Christmas stuff for the next six weeks). I'm treading lightly and speaking softly so as to not disrupt his project this afternoon.

Looks like he is on a roll; be very quiet...

Hi PV
I LOVE it when Mrs C gets in clean up mode!
I NEVER try to stop her from finally deciding we will never use some things and it's time to find a new home for them.
If I rememebr correctly...that's was why I starting selling here...of course to make money...but I was helping her get rid of things at the same time.

I think we all get to a point in our life, when we look around and say...
Why am I keeping all this junk.
Now I do save old love letters, and my first attempts at writing short stories.
But there is no way I will ever put the plane together.
So it sells one part at a time.
Just wish I could get the wife to clean her clothes closet.
