Show the sellers that are for this GTC policy.

Why don't I see anyone that is happy or behind this new GTC policy . All I see is removal of anything that should be taken in account when deciding on this new policy. Stop this so I can control my store. I pay for it every month. I do not want to be charged for something I don't want to be charged for. The new policy even contradicts your own policy. SHow these sellers that want GTC....if there really are any....

Re: Show the sellers that are for this GTC policy.

what vintagecraze says is true
. However, I just tried to find one of my GTC listings that expired and was automatically re-listed within the last hour. It is not near the top of the Newly Listed search, as I hoped it would be.
So maybe GTC istings never go to the top of New ly Listed when they automatically re-list.
Has anyone seen concrete proof of this --- one way or the other?
If you have seen definite proof -- please tell us about it.
Sales have been slow lately. I certainly hope there is no cause and effect here.
Because -- even if compulsory GTC hurts business -- what can we do about it?
Nothing that is not tricky and time consuming, and may possibly be sanctioned. I heard there are gong to be penalties for sellers who manually cancel all their listings on the 30th day, and then manually re-list.

Yes, if you die, your items will still be relisted, and Ebay will keep charging your Paypal account til "0"...

This GTC should be decided by the seller if he or she wants it,not by Ebay. There should be somewhere where you can check off (in the settings) if you want it or not.I have seen a lot of Ebay changes and many are in Ebay's favor. Not much for the seller.Remember Ebay we as sellers provide your paychecks.

I will now have to keep an eye on my store limit daily because GTC could go over my store limit and be charged extra for each listing.

Which is exactly what eBay wants!

Re: Show the sellers that are for this GTC policy.

I've always used GTC. About once a week I look at the listings ending for the next week or so, and remove the ones that don't have many views and/or have been on there too long. Those things get rotated in with antique mall stock, or put into garage sale or donation boxes. That way, the things that shouldn't be relisted, aren't. And it makes room for new listings. I take a pro-active approach to my listings, and I currently have over 1500 items listed.  It's not hard. I sell vintage and collectibles, so it doesn't matter if it's at the top of the search list or not, there's usually only a few others, at most, of the same thing. I guess order does matter if you're selling something there's ten thousand of, which is probably a bigger problem than GTC.

Re: Show the sellers that are for this GTC policy.

As far as hoping eBay will walk back this change, this question came  up at Chat on March 27, 2019.  One of the Blues stated in Chat that eBay has no plans to rescind this change.

You can read the Chat if you care to confirm this; there are other GTC related questions there as well.
