Let's talk Net Neutrality and how it is affecting sales. What is Net Neutrality? Yah, big long name which doesn't even begin to describe how it is affecting small business e-sellers. Fair Internet would be a better title.
First, a brief refresher 2014 article attempting to explain Net Neutrality. https://www.businessinsider.com/net-neutralityfor-dummies-and-how-it-effects-you-2014-1
I am seeing complaints of sales being down on other ecommerce discussion boards and many sellers do not realize how the repeal of Net Neutrality is affecting sales for small businesses. Another great article explaining the benefits of Net Neutrality and impacts of repeal on small businesses. https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbestechcouncil/2017/12/08/the-impact-of-net-neutrality-laws-on-your-...
Remember the reversal decision in 2017 to remove regulations https://money.cnn.com/2017/12/14/technology/fcc-net-neutrality-vote/index.html...which was when sales started flopping for small ecommerce sellers.
Net Neutrality is a difficult concept...and I wish they would have labeled with a different name. Fair Internet...is better way to explain. I am not an expert in internet tech, but most sellers can agree...repeal has not benefited us at all. So, when discussing politics...sellers might ask where their elected officials stand on policy.

Since the repeal of net neutrality the traffic lights in my town have not been synchronized. This is the effects that we never see. It has just been awful.

This is a good page to review that speaks to 2019 legislation and which individual states have taken steps:
