Shoe Authentication Failed?

I know Ebay has millions of customers worldwide, but now, it'll be millions minus 1.  Why? Let me tell you...

This was literally my FIRST sale on Ebay. I was hyped! Several days later, I get this obscure message about how the authenticator can't authenticate the shoes. What!!??? New Nikes that I'd purchased, but never worn... can't be authenticated??? Man, please!! No explanation or anything. Unbelievable.

I've been burned on Ebay before as a buyer... (once) shame on Ebay 

Now, I've been burned as a seller... (twice) shame on me.

     You are not the first seller to report issues with the shoe authentication program and will probably not be the last. While the authentication process was a good idea it appears to have less than optimal results.

They need to refund the sellers shipping if they made an false positive and send it back to the seller. To cut this **bleep** out.

We are seeing this more and more here in the forum.  Unfortunately any one, especially on line, can state they are an authentic Nike dealer, however in most cases they are not.  Lots of fraudulent websites out there.  Be careful. 

You may want to think about removing the other 2 pairs you have listed as they will probably be deemed unauthentic as well.

Authentication not only verifies that the item is authentic, but it also verifies that it matches the condition as described.  Looking at your pictures for the sold item, there is writing on the bottom of the sole and if the box in the background is for these shoes, it is in rough condition.  eBays authentication will kick these back as unable to verify the authenticity because it doesn't match the "new in box" condition listed.

I know, it seems picky but that's most likely why they failed the process.  Sneaker heads are extremely picky about condition and there is a good chance that you would have ended up in an not as described claim or chargeback.
