Hello hopefully someone comes across this.
Timeline:
- Shoes sold on April 12 over $300 so it has to go through the authenticity process.
- Shoes were dropped off on April 13.
- April 14-17 it was in transit and on the 17th, the tracking updated with "ARRIVAL AT UNIT " LONG ISLAND CITY, NY 11101. On the 17th it also went "Out for delivery to hub," then the next day I got hit with "AWAITING DELIVERY SCAN" ASTORIA, NY 11105.
Problem/Concern:
Last time I had a problem with this, apparently the package was lost but arrived a month later. This item was sold on another selling platform and it was also in New York where the problem occurred :'/ I have bad luck when shipping over there lol. But will I be held responsible for the lost package or will eBay help me out? Who should I contact and should I just wait for the tracking to hopefully update?
Extra info : The label was bought through a third party and its USPS priority mail.

This package is not lost; it was last scanned within the past 48 hours, on Saturday, and if it's awaiting a delivery scan, that may simply mean that the authentication business (or the building that they're in) was closed for the weekend.
Now that we are into weekdays again, I would expect the tracking to update any day.

If anyone is confused please let me know. I want to know what my next move is and I don't want to be at fault again then needing to refund buyer.

Ohh ok, I'm kind of new on ebay selling. Thanks for the info, I'll keep this in mind in the future. Take care and stay safe!
