Greetings Fellow eBay Sellers,
Are your sales better or worst than this time last year? Just wondering. Our store business is the lowest in several years. Thanks for your input.

Sorry. I'm a hardened and shameless realist. It's why I don't fall into these traps.

Good luck with that. How are you planning on driving traffic to your store as Shopify doesn't do that.

I don’t think that minim wage exists any longer. Kids in my area are getting minimum $15 an hour. No experience needed, on the spot interviews and hiring decisions.

I think the high inflation and record credit debts has finally taken its toll. Within the couple of weeks the following companies and others have missed sales projections.

That is not what the "White House" has said. You are interpreting it in a different way that was said or intended. Which often leads to misunderstandings.
The US Economy is doing well, unemployment rate is very low, but there are many factors that keep the average person from being able to accept that. The biggest reasons are is likely the the inflation rate, grocery prices and the price of gas. All these things affect us on a daily basis and as long as we don't see and feel this ease up on us it is hard to accept that the economy is doing well.

While the economy overall is doing quite well with low unemployment, and good wage growth.
However, because of high food prices in particular people are changing their spending habits.

Yeah, minimum wage where I live is $17/hour but most "minimum wage" jobs around here offer more than that just to be competitive because there are so many places that are hiring right now. Even the little dinky taco place near me that caters mostly to the local college students was advertising $19/hour plus tips.

For some reason people are under the illusion that the president (of whichever party) can snap his fingers and BOOM! food prices go down. Not so much - they depend a great deal on climate issues (i.e., harvest, drought, flood, increasing instability), supply chains (which are fragmented) and corporate price fixing.
