Selling on eBay it’s worthless!!!

I don’t know why I even bother selling and listening things on EBay! Vinted and Facebook are so much better. Every item I sold on EBay it’s lost 50% of sale to selling fees, listing fees , promoting fees, postage, vat, and who knows what else…

it takes forever for items to sell, than each week prices drops down, even than it’s impossible to sell, so u reduce it to minimum value just to sell and then on top of it I loose half to fees! It’s just not worth it! I had to pack items, I need to send items, wait to arrive to buyers… waiting nervously will they be happy or will they return it??? So much stress and hassle for 1/10 of value of my items. EBay is good for buyers but not for sellers! I would advise anyone who wants to sell do not use EBay!!!

Item cost £30

Buyer protection £1.75

Postage £3.10

Selling on eBay it’s worthless!!!

I’m in UK , my feedback is 100% in last 20 years of selling and buying. Now I stopped selling as I am not happy with EBay fees and charges.
Item prices £30

Selling fee £2

Transaction fee £ 2

Add fee £3.5

Total earnings £ 21.70

All I got £15

Non of it is adding up ?
This is not once but 6 times

Luckily I am not business seller but just for personal use getting rid off unwanted stuff but it’s not worth.

Well it looks  like you sold 95 items on eBay  in the last 25  years.  My guess is you haven't kept up  with the eBay changes in policies, procedures etc.  Hard to play ball if you haven't kept up.

If you have issues that you would like to discuss with other members here, it might be better to start your own post.  You should not have hijacked @zana007dean's post with your long-winded opines because those have nothing to do with the OP.

Ebay isn't for everyone........and if you don't understand why/how you are being paid........probably best to find a place where it's understandable to you.....

Understand though, you are posting on the board primarily for US sellers.....we don't know the terms of sales in the UK.......  If you want those answers, might do better asking on the UK board.......

@zana007dean

If you are in the UK, then why are you posting this on the USA message boards?

Here, we discuss Ebay in the US.  So some of these fees you are talking about may not apply here

Post on the Ebay UK boards for better information that applies to your area, please
