Yes I already did, they will tell you that they have to verify your address, they will ask you for a driver's license and a statement of the account.
Muchas gracias. Gracias por descubrir esto y compartirlo. Espero que esto ayude a otros a seguir vendiendo también.

Other Threads have suggested using an On-Line Bank for eBay Managed Payments without any problems.

Wouldn't a PR account be considered US?

I try to open an online account with bank of America but I couldn't, I don't know what other banks I can try.

do you have an account with a PR bank........any bank in PR?

Are there any mainland banks with branches in PR?
I suspect it is the first group of numbers on the bottom of the account that are the problem and indicate PR.
There are a number of online banks that work well.

PR has been a a U.S. Territory for over 100 years, U.S. citizens by birthright, we're Domestic Mail, same currency etc. There are banks in the island that have branches on the continental US and vice versa. This doesn't make any sense.
I've been registered on eBay since 1999, selling quite a few things since then, but nothing for the last two or three years since I'm just a casual seller, I'm mostly a buyer.
People from China and Canada sell here, and we can't do that now?

Hello All! This is quite frustrating. Like severian_of_urth I've been on Ebay for a long time and am mostly a buyer and sell sporadically. Last time I sold something was a few years ago and had no issues. Now I want to sell something and can't. The interesting thing is that on the "Verifiy Existing Details" page you get after entering all your item information and just before being able to list it, Puerto Rico is not listed in the State Drop Down. However, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Virgin Islands and American Samoa are! Is this a mistake or blatant discrimination!
We need to keep this thread going to see if Ebay does something about it. Wow!
Thanks

You might consider coming to the weekly chat where you can ask questions directly to eBay staff. It's held every Wednesday at 1 pm Eastern time. Here's a message with a link to the chat: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Community-Chat-07-07-2021-1-00-pm-PT-General-Topics/m-p/320374...
If other US territories are included in Managed Payments, I can't imagine why Puerto Rico wouldn't be included as well?

It looks to me as though eBay may not have rolled out Managed Payments to sellers in Puerto Rico yet. I searched for items located in Puerto Rico, and I found lots of items for sale, but none of the sellers I checked were in Managed Payments yet. Even the largest sellers, with more than 18,000 feedback ratings, were still using PayPal as the payment processor. eBay was generally inviting the larger sellers first, when they rolled MP out 3 years ago.
You don't have any completed listings that are still available to view, so I can't see how you have the item location set up. eBay sometimes made mistakes when they were inviting sellers into MP, so it's possible that eBay may think you are in the mainland USA, if they have not enabled MP for Puerto Rico yet.
You should be able to get help from the Managed Payments team if you contact them through this help page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page; I see two contact options for eBay Customer Service there. One of them is "Have us call you" on the right. They should be able to call you, as long as your phone number is on the North American Numbering plan, which is true for Puerto Rico. The call back should be with an agent who is trained for Managed Payments questions.

More than likely it's a lack of geographic knowledge on eBay's part. Something you need to work directly with eBay. They are not the only ones that have a lack of geographic knowledge. Read some of the google questions that have been asked and you will get an idea.

Thanks for the link! I was able to get someone on the phone to help me with this. However after two escalations all I was able to accomplish was for a "case" to be created. Let's see if this solves the problem in a few days.
Thanks for all your input!

I had tried my Baxter Credit Union Account which is based on the United State's Mainland, but it still didnt work as eBay could not deposit the funds into it.
Not only that but like previously mentioned, Puerto Rico is not even in the list of states available but other US Protectorites are!?
I spoke to eBay in regards to the matter since on July 17th, eBay will forceably remove paypal seller funds processing and incorporate managed payments like it or not. They opened up a case so that I can "temporarily" stay under Paypal's processing system, and stated they will send the funds I have acumulated with Ebay MAnaged Payment to Paypal. They also recommended I remove all of my items while they make the adjustment.
This worries me to no end since I am depending on eBay as my full time job. I'll have to consider moving elsewhere since I depend on this to sell, and that eBay managed payments hasnt added Puerto Rico since it intially started three years ago does not guarantee me that they will add it any time soon.
Super distressing and something worthy of a class action law suit. I hope this gets fixed.
