Selling Has Become A Joke On eBay

And not a very funny one at that. Between the "managed" payments that requires eBay have direct access to your checking account (I used an online "throw away" account for mine), the ridiculously high fee structure and the fact that the seller has no protection whatsoever, I've found that selling on my own .com website (costs me $28.00 per month) is a MUCH better way to go. In the two weeks it's been up, I've made over a dozen sales (without advertising) and have put more money in my pocket than I have with eBay in the last year. When my advertising campaigns on Facebook and Twitter go live, I expect I'll do even better. Just something to think about folks. The Powers that be at eBay have gotten greedy and seem to have forgotten that they are NOT absolutely necessary.

Re: Selling Has Become A Joke On eBay

this platform is a joke nowadays. I have used it since 2001 and had no issues before but for the past year, it's been a joke. They can't fix their algorithm issues etc. It is supposed to be eBay, not offer-up etc.

Reminds me of AOL.
