I'm currently looking to sell some valuable art pieces on eBay and want to make sure I adhere to all the guidelines and rules associated with selling high-value items.
Specifically, I am interested in understanding the best practices and any specific regulations related to selling expensive art on the platform.
Could someone kindly provide information or direct me to the relevant guidelines for selling high-ticket art items on eBay? I want to ensure a smooth and compliant selling process.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I would not start out selling expensive items. Sell some inexpensive things around the house while you learn how to sell through this platform.
Here is a link to eBay Selling
Is your banking ready to accept payment?
Have you read and understood how the eBay Money Back Guarantee works?
Payment holds won’t be a surprise, will they?
Many new sellers are not aware of the selling fees here.

Don't. Depending on their actual value, there are lots of other better venues for high dollar art.
Even if you were not a brand new seller, would advise caution.

as others have said, DON;T sell expensive items. All a bad buyer needs to do is file a not as described, request a refund and send's back a pile of junk. You will be out the money and item. Just read thru all the other posted messages on this forum.
Have a great holiday season.

As others have already said, don't. You are asking to get scammed as a new seller with high dollar items. Scammers scan eBay constantly for new sellers with high dollar items and they have dozens of ways that they can rip you off with eBay's blessing. There are plenty of other safer ways to sell your artwork. eBay is probably the most dangerous way to do it. Didn't use to be that way but it is now and scammers know it all to well.
On a side note, I have been selling here since 2008, have thousands of sales and a ton of feedback and I wouldn't sell high dollar/high scam items here. That should tell you something.

Consign to a reputable art auction house... don't sell it on Ebay. Your link is to your own website, so keep going that route

Use an insured art broker 😉

Expensive items are not a good thing to sell on the internet these days. You cannot spam this discussion forum either with your links to your website. Please be respectful of this forum.
